Predicting BiodiversityWith Jim Clark's lab, we will determine how diverse communities of species monitored at NEON sites (ground beetles, vascular plants, small mammals, birds) respond together to climate change. Remotely-sensed imagery and the NEON airborne observatory will be used to characterize habitat diversity.

Kavango-Zambezi Water & WildlifeIn the Kavango-Zambezi (KAZA) trans-frontier conservation area in southern Africa together with WWF, we hope to (1) improve understanding of how hydrology shapes the current habitat mosaic and how wildlife use that mosaic; and (2) develop a foundation of data, modeling, and partnerships to explore how that mosaic may shift due to development and climate change.
